Dear Aurora Team,
As a marketing professional, photographer, environmentalist, and outdoor enthusiast, I am uniquely well suited for the Outdoor Brand Evangelist / Marketing Associate position with Aurora Photos.
I am passionate about photography, particularly authentic photos of nature and people enjoying the outdoors. Through my time as a surf photographer and working in the Marketing Department at Lensbaby, I developed relationships with some of the top outdoor photographers in the field. Also, through my photography work I have worked with a variety of outdoor brands. I truly enjoy seeking out and growing these relationships.
I take pride in my ability to take on a wide variety of jobs. Skills I've developed in my current and past marketing positions would help me to excel at the responsibilities of this job. I have experience managing advertising campaigns and budgets, leading social media strategy and implementation (growing Facebook followers by more than 20,000 people in my time at Lensbaby), handling email marketing campaigns, using Adobe Creative Suite to create a variety of brochures and newsletters, and solving problems for customers and sales teams are just a sample of the work I've been doing for the past several years. I also have successful experience organizing events such as film screenings in the outdoor sports genre.
I truly think my skills, interests, and personality are a perfect fit for this position, and I'm sure that I could help expand both your client base and photographer relationships.
Please continue to scroll down to review my resume and experience in more detail.
I may be traveling up to Portland soon to visit a friend who recently moved there. He compared the town to Portland Oregon (where we both have lived) 15 years ago, but on the coast. That mix sounds pretty nice to me!
Thank you for your consideration,
